Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of TripNoted's website and services. By using TripNoted, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these Terms from time to time by posting an updated version with a new effective date.

TripNoted is a travel organization service. It connects to email accounts, identifies travel candidates, and organizes extracted trip details into itineraries.

TripNoted is not a travel booking provider. You are responsible for verifying critical booking details directly with airlines, hotels, and other vendors.

• You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.

By connecting Google, you authorize TripNoted to access Gmail data needed for travel organization features. Our use of Google API data is governed by the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use.

• TripNoted uses travel-candidate matching and is not guaranteed to identify every travel email.
• You may revoke Google access at any time in your Google account permissions.
• Revoking access stops future retrieval but does not automatically delete previously extracted data. For deletion, use the account deletion process at /account-deletion.

• Subscriptions renew unless canceled.
• Cancellation stops renewal and keeps access through the current paid period.
• Cancellation is different from data deletion. Data deletion requires an explicit request through the account deletion flow.

You may not misuse TripNoted. Prohibited conduct includes:

• Violating laws or third-party rights.
• Attempting unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
• Interfering with service availability or integrity.
• Reverse engineering, scraping, or abusive automation against the service.

TripNoted and its software, design, and branding are owned by TripNoted or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You retain rights in your own data, and grant TripNoted a limited license to process that data solely to provide the service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRIPNOTED IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRIPNOTED'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO TRIPNOTED IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

Before filing a formal claim, you and TripNoted agree to try to resolve disputes informally by contacting support.

Except for the carve-outs below, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be resolved exclusively through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

• Arbitration is the default and exclusive path for covered disputes.
• Proceedings must be on an individual basis only.
• Class actions and class arbitrations are not permitted.

The following disputes are not required to go through arbitration:

• Individual claims that qualify for small claims court.
• Claims seeking injunctive or equitable relief for intellectual property infringement or security misuse.

For these carve-outs only, both parties consent to venue in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules.

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or misuse is detected. You may stop using the service at any time.
